How to switch
1. Choose one of the models listed.
2. When you sign up, name Dipl. med. Charalampos (Harris) Romanos, Bahnhofplatz 5, 8001 Zürich as your family doctor (ZSR D581931, network ZGN).
3. Book your first appointment online.
To switch for 2027, your insurer usually needs your request by 30 November 2026. HMO models tied to a specific health centre do not include us. With a Telmed model, call your insurer’s telephone advice line before your appointment.

Are you accepting new patients?
Yes, gladly. We start with an introductory appointment: you tell us what you need, and we talk through how we can best support you. That way you can see whether our practice is right for your needs. To get started, please fill in the registration form (English / Deutsch) and book your introductory appointment online via OneDoc. We look forward to meeting you.
My GP is not taking new patients. Can I come to you?
Yes. We are accepting new patients, and you do not need a referral. Book a “Medical Consultation” online and send us the registration form with a photo of your insurance card beforehand. In a GP insurance model, name Dr. Romanos as your family doctor with your insurer, provided he is listed in your model (see the list above).
I am an expat. Can I see an English-speaking doctor here?
Yes. All consultations can be held in English, as well as German and Greek. Bring your Swiss insurance card and any previous medical reports you have. In an emergency, go straight to a hospital emergency department or call 144.
Can I come if I live outside Zurich?
Do I need a referral?
No. As a family doctor, you do not need a referral to visit us. You can register and book directly.
How quickly can I get an appointment?
Usually within a few days. For urgent concerns, we often have same-day or next-day slots available.
Is treatment covered by insurance?
Basic insurance (KVG) covers standard consultations and medically justified investigations. Extended or optional services may be self-pay — always discussed transparently in advance.
