Commuters from Zug · Praxis Dr. Romanos
A GP for commuters from Zug.
About 22 minutes to Zurich.
Live in Zug, work in Zurich? Your family doctor can be right where you get off the train.
Commuting
Between Zug and Zurich.
If you live in Zug and work in Zurich, or the other way round, a family practice at Zurich main station fits that routine: step off the train, walk about five minutes, and you are there. No extra trip across town in your lunch break.
Every consultation can be held in English, as well as German and Greek. You describe your symptoms in the language you know best, and you get a clear explanation of the findings and next steps.
Dr. Harris Romanos is your family doctor over the years: acute illness, chronic conditions and prevention. Existing patients who have already been to the practice can arrange a follow-up by video or phone. The first appointment always takes place in the practice.

Health insurance
Living in Zug, GP in Zurich?
With the standard model (free choice of doctor) you can choose a GP in Zurich even if you live in the Canton of Zug. We bill your basic insurance; your deductible and co-payment apply as with any GP.
Your premium depends on where you live, your insurance model and your deductible — not on where your doctor is. In a GP or HMO model you name your family doctor with your insurer, and the insurer decides which practices you can choose; please check with them before you switch. Our list of 2027 models shows where Dr. Romanos is listed. Telmed models work too: call your insurer’s telephone advice line before your appointment.
